Burgers, barbecue, thick milkshakes and an assortment of other items that make it worthwhile to blow that diet. – In Short Indulge in burgers, fries, shakes, hot dogs, barbecue and onion rings without ever having to leave your car. The tricky part will be dining as you drive, if you opt to take it and go, though seating is available outdoors. The food is always fresh-cooked and very satisfying for fast food. It is reminiscent of the good old days, with the tasty fare for family fun or late dates.
A friend in my milkshake? – I USED TO LOVE Cook Out! My boyfriend thought it would be nice to take me to get a milkshake tonight. My banana milkshake was tasting just fine until about half way through. It was then that I sucked a big "banana" through the straw, but it was hard. I didn't chew; I spat it out in my hand (in the car) and left it there until we returned home. It was at home, on the bathroom vanity, that I put the dark brown clumps (in 2 pieces) down. Great Place – The Cook Out on Walnut is a tremendous place to get a fantastic hamburger, hot dog, milk shake or any other type of "fast food". Its my favourite place for a burger in the Triangle.
Good, but... – The food is good, although I'd say they get the order right less than half the time. The Cook Out on Hwy. 70 has the absolute rudest employees I've encountered. I swear sometimes they get my order wrong intentionally. Say no mayo, get a glob of mayo bigger than the burger! If the food wasn't so good and cheap, I'd stop going altogether.
Incredible – Our favorite for family "Burger Nite" We have a 16-year old that goes through a hugh cheddar style, large seasoned fries and a peanut butter shake like there's no tomorrow.
The Best there is – Excellent Hamburger Meat, Cajun spice available for the fries, Fast service ! Smoke flavored . This is a To-Go only place.When I am Burgered-out I still can eat here, because it is that much different.
Cookout – This place has the best burgers along with the best milkshakes...more of a flavor variety than anywhere.
Crazy For Cook Out – Cook Out has the best burgers. They are a good value for what you get, and they are freshly prepared. Their shakes are terrific, too...Chocolate Peanut Butter or Chocolate Malted or Watermelon when it is in season. MMMMM, and the onion rings, too.
Killer Burgers – Excellent burgers, shakes and all!!!!!!!!!! You won't find a better tasting drive thru burger (or a lot of sit ins too!) Now if we only had a White Castle or Crystal!!!!!!!
