I refuse to ever bring a child here again. Let me preface by saying this is my third child. I brought in my 4 week baby to the ER due to an sudden dramatic decrease (half of normal intake) of milk intake along with major distress (inconsolable crying for 1+ hour each) during feeds over 3 days. Our 35-week premature daughter was transferred to Cook Children’s NICU, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, supported, and cared for. The nurses, doctors, speech therapists, dietitians, and every other medical professional who cared for our daughter were absolutely amazing. I see a lot of low reviews but we had an amazing experience. Daughter had scary rash and blisters, and we were seen immediately and with a calm staff. After years of going to Baylor for emergencies, Cook Childrens was night and day comparison, the ER front desk, nurse and DR listened to us and took great care of our daughter.
