Wonderful place ! I know somehow I am probably related to the Coogan’s � enjoyed my visit to this classic pub ! The Shepard’s pie is life changing !!! Hope it gets to stay !!
Best place in the neighborhood. I used to take my children there to eat now they are faithful coustomers . Please help us keep Coogans in our neighborhood
On another FaceBook page, a visitor to NYC asked for recommendations for a good restaurant. This was my reply: Coogans on Broadway in Washington Heights; Lin Manuel Miranda is a regular. The landlord, NEW YORK PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL, is raising the rent by $40,000 per MONTH, almost TRIPLING it ! ! ! They will be closing their doors in May after first making sure that ALL 40 employees have jobs. Coogans has been serving excellent food and pouring honest drinks since 1985.
