Location to The Rave is great. Bartender was really on it. Friendly people. Food was good. Prices reasonable.
Super divey little hole in the wall with pretty good grub. We stopped in here on our way to a concert at the Rave/Eagle Ballroom for a pre show drink and some dinner. The bartender was already drunk at 5pm. Not really a big deal to me, but that should tell you the type of atmosphere is going on in the bar. The restaurant side of the building however, was a completely different vibe. The chef/owner takes your order himself and makes small talk with the diners. Seriously awesome bar...and the grill?...forget about anywhere else. The food was easy on the wallet, and the wings were incredibly tender, smokey and delicious! The owner/musician/chef brought our order to us and even ensured me that there were no glutens to worry about in my bbq wings. We loved our food so much, the husband went back to the order window to pop a 5er in the bucket, and the chef gave him a CD for his band(the bar's house band)!
