Converse Animal Hospital was great! This was our first visit! The staff was super friendly and helpful. They took great care of my baby. The Dr was kind, warm and gave out directions that were clear and concise. They even printed out the directives! The pricing was average and they were not pushy with anything unnecessary. I was not advise that this place have implemented a cancellation fee of $25 after Covid-19 quarantine. I found out when called to cancel my pet appointment. Although I explained the customer rep over the phone that I was unaware of the new fee and that I was not let know of this when I booked in person this appointment, not other solution or fee waiver was given. I am SO grateful for the amazing staff at Converse Animal Hospital. They were able to fit my dog and cat in for a last minute exam so they could fly to our new duty station. After a traumatic experience with a different vet clinic yesterday, I was scared that this clinic wouldn't help us either. I called them twice beforehand to ensure they'd sign the paperwork the airline needed (I was paranoid at that point) and the office staff were reassuring both times. I use them for boarding and care. Haven’t had any issues. The staff is very friendly.
If you have a pittie, don't take them here for the love of your pet! The vet I saw implied I was teaching mine to dog fight, that they are aggressive because of their breed, and that they always attack other dogs. Found out after I left that the vet we saw is also the owner. 1. Shame on any vet for saying such things. 2. Shame on the owner for perpetuating stigmas and treating clients this way!
