I have been seeing Dr. A since 2003. I would never want to go any place else. His staff is great! They all make you feel like your at home. I had surgery on my ankle a couple years ago and have been doing better. He cares about his patients and is very trustworthy. He has a great sense of humor. I would recommend Dr. A to any family member or friend, as well as strangers. He's known to be one of the best surgeons in the east bay.
I have known Dr. Ambrosino for a great many years now. Very simply, he is the best doctor... of any type of doctor... that I have ever been to. His medical and surgical skills are excellent. Because of genetics and clumsiness, I've been seeing Dr. Ambrosino for about 10 years. I twisted my ankle on a beach one day and that simple twist turned into tearing 2 of the 3 ligaments in my ankle apart. Upon entering the door at Contra Costa Foot & Ankle, you will be greeted by a most friendly staff. They are very personable and make you feel right at home. Dr. A is THE BEST! I've got bad feet on BOTH sides of my family. I had so many problems, I won't bore you with the details. But I will say that Dr. A is an EXCELLENT podiatrist & surgeon. I'm walking today because of Dr. A. He has addressed my podiatric issues in a methodical manner, only resorting to surgery when absolutely necessary. When my daughter was about 3 I noticed that her ankles looked a little odd when she walked. I asked her pediatrician at the time and I was told she would out grow her condition. I knew that this did not seem right. When we changed medical coverage to Kaiser and we began to look for a podiatrist within Kaiser. My dad was hurt 4 years ago when his foot was crushed in a machine. He was told he was fine and could go to work the next day. Because he had seen Dr. Ambrosino before he went for a second opinion when he couldn't stand on his foot. He had severe tissue and nerve damage. Dr. Ambrosino has been working with my dad for 4 years now to get his foot to where he can walk with minimum pain. If it was not for Dr. Ambrosino, I would not have my big toe. After a industrial accident on a friday afternoon, this office was the only office that would stay late to see me. When anyone else would have looked at the mangled mess and cut off my toe, Dr. Ambrosino painstakingly removed every broken piece of bone and sewed my toe back up. His staff has been nothing but caring and I will never go to any other podiatrist.
I HAVE KNOWN DR AMBROSINO AND STAFF FOR OVER 14 YEARS, I HAVE ALWAYS HAD GREAT CARE AND TREATED GREAT AT HIS OFFICE. DR AMBROSINO HAS ALWAYS GONE THAT EXTRA MILE FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. DOCTOR AMBROSINO DID A SURGERY ON MY GRANDMOTHER WHO WAS UNABLE TO CLOSED TOED SHOES AND AFTER THE SURGERY SHE HAS NOT HAD ANY MORE PAIN AND IS ABLE TO WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES, SHE CAN WALK BETTER AND FOR LONGER PERIODS OF TIME. IF I OR MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS EVER NEEDED A PODIATRIST I WILL ALWAYS SEND THEM TO DR AMBROSINO.
