Receptionist needs to impove manner, otherwise a good place – I went to this spa once before and had a very pleasant experience. Everybody I met was very nice, expecially the manager(John?). However, the woman who answered phone today, who identified herself as "Shannon"(?) left a sour feeling in me. Best Massage – I have to admit, I wasn't sure about this new spa that opened in our neighborhood, but my husband bought me a massage, so I went to use it with hope that I wouldn't return home with another mediocre massage. great massage and staff – I went with my friend that is pregnant for a baby shower weekend in Chicago. The trip to Continuum Studio was the highlight of the weekend. My Swedish massage was relaxing and even after the flight home I feel great! My friend had the pre-natal massage and said she will be back as much as she can before the baby comes! We both recommend this spa to anyone looking for an urban mini-break.
Great Massage – I had one of the best massages I have ever received here. I felt great for weeks following my treatment, and would recommend this place to anyone.
Epilogue to review – I wrote a previous review which was negative based on my experience with an esthetician. The manager called me and he was very accomodating and CALM - not confrontational like before. It made up for the negative experience and although I wouldn't go there again, my review is based on only one uprofessional person. He and the rest of the people I've dealt with, have been nothing but professional. I would recommend others to try it.
Most Amazing Bodywork Ever!!! – I have been to several massage therapists over the years, and having Tourette?s Syndrome, it's been difficult to find someone who actually listens to my needs. Want the skin you had ten years ago? – This salon is fantastic. There are no gimmicks here--just pricey, yet super effective skin treatments and skin care lines. If skin care works as well as the products and the services here, then it is well worth the expense. Massage Heaven – If i could give more stars I would. My sister bought me a prenatal massage when I was pregnant and it was amazing. I just went back for my first after pregnancy massage. Now I won't go anywhere else for my massages. I had some complications at the very end of my pregnancy with major back pain and needed to go in for an emergency massage and they fit me in when they were completely booked! Hooked on Continuum – Last year, when I had a spafinder gift certificate, I searched on line for a place to use it, hopefully somewhere near my home. I found Continuum Studio--and I'm hooked. First of all, it's nice to go to a place 'where everybody knows your name'--but the services are awesome. The value far exceeds pricey spas--where, by the way, I would have to pay alot more to park. I can't recommend Continuum highly enough, and I've steered many people to it.
