I am in the same situation. The owner Ron has treated me like a dog! Not only i he rude, used profanity while speaking to me but he would not stand behind the warranty of my machine. When you want to make a purchase go to Somerset Sewing, the owner is awesome and he will service your machine as promised. I am joining the class action law suit, I feel I should get my money back.
NEVER buy a sewing machine here. This is the worst sewing machine I have ever had. I paid $300 MORE for this (yes, quite expensive) machine than I would have at Wal Mart or QVC or even at JoAnn because I wanted to support a local business and because they sold me on the idea that their service was so great and I would be able to get local service. The owner of this place is a thief! He will be nice until you make a purchase and then he will treat you terribly! He does not service the machines he sells and he cheats his customers. Please don't waste money at Continental Sewing, you will regret it if you do. Just read all the reviews online, this place has bad reviews everywhere.
anyone looking for high quality customer service & products should use baby lock sew n vac.. located on reynolds rd... i got wonderful customer service there, after being treated not so great... baby lock has won my loyalty... the experience there was far beyond my expectations! i highly recommend them.
i recently visited this establishment with my mother who by the way has sewed for the past 40 years and i was shocked at the way that we were spoken to and treated. they acted as if we were trash and knew nothing. save your money and buy directly from the website from janome. when i got on the website to see what was supposed to come with the sewing machine i found that we had been ripped off. they didnt include parts and accesories that were supposed to come with it. buyer beware..........
