I'm impressed by your advocating for a competitive minimum wage. The PA is doing work that may be crucial to the client's well-being. This is particularly important if the client is disabled or aged. Without your advocacy the consumer is in the very difficult, if not impossible situation, of trying to hire someone for a responsible position at less than a competitive minimum wage. What is the consumer's response supposed to be when he is challenged on the minimum wage and responsibility?
We switched fiscal intermediaries in July 2021. As my mother's representative, and on behalf of her seven (7) Personal Assistants, we say "WOW". I received thank you and OMGs from Mom's aides, that care for her 24/7, even though it was Consumer Directed Choices (CDC), its Board of Directors and the staff that we want to thank. I have been working for consumer direct choices for years and they are a awesome company that always put employees first . Payroll also always on time never had a complaint about my employer from other friends that work for same company overall if you in search of a reputable respectful no judgement workplace then consumer direct choices is it . They also offer 401-k as well . I take care of two handicap girls that’s takes a lot of patience and I love my job plus every year the company will give out pay raise which is nice
Consumer Directed Choices is the best agency you can hope to have working for you. You can use your assigned Medicaid hours however is most helpful to you. It is generous with bonuses to your aides (with your agreement). Every employee will is happy to help you. Pre-Covid, they had award dinners for the best aides. They are simply the best agency!
