Terrible experience with how my surgery turned out, was supposed to get a cyst removed with quick healing in 2023. It is now 2026 and I am still dealing with Chronic pain that was in result to having a surgery preformed by this doctor. I would never recommend him to anyone not only for the surgery that was done. But his bedside and patient communication skills are sub par at best, he had gaslight me for two years nothing was wrong. Truly thought i wouldn't have function of my pinkey anymore, can confidently say it works the same now as my other pinkey and looks significantly straighter than the one i didn't get surgery on. Highly recommend!
Dr. Ketonis has done surgery on 2 of my fingers. Restored them back to functioning fingers. No longer have daily pain, no longer diffucult, or limited on the use of fingers. Easy to talk to. Genuinely concerned. I am grateful to have him as my doctor.
if every medical office in Rochester operated as intelligently and compassionately as URMC's Hand Clinic/ Dr Ketonis's office, my blood pressure would be 50 points lower and my health better. My immune system doesn't work properly and I need providers to wear an N95 mask. It is a disability related accommodation and it is the policy of both healthcare systems that, when asked, employees are meant to comply.
