DR Connors did my open heart surgery...I highly recommend him! He explains well, the, "why" and the "how", prior to surgery. He stays current on cardio technology and I'm a blessed beneficiary as a result. He also has remarkably gifted hands which may be your first question if you are wondering who should perform you surgery. My scar is surprisingly small two weeks out. His team stays in communication are accessible too boot.
