this company doesn't even deserve one star. the worst company i've ever delt with in my life. they steal from you charged us $160 worth of fees in one month. this should be agianst the law

Connexus Energy is a horrible company and if I had a choice for my electric company Connexus would be the last company I'd ever choose. From their customer service to their rates they should be rated at zero stars. The company doesn't offer any programs and little if any rebates such as other energy companies. We tend to struggle with the high costs of electric and usually end up behind this time of year. We made a payment arrangement and it was broken due to unforeseen circumstances. I received a letter warning us that the arrangement was broken and to pay immediately to avoid disconnection of service. This letter was received on 10/31/2017, we lost power 2x that night, same thing the following night. Mind you, in the past they have left a tag on your door and placed the limiter on the meter. Connexus Energy is currently upgrading all of our member's meters. When a meter has been upgraded, it is no longer required for a technician to manually limit or disconnect service. Due to this, a tag is no longer delivered upon the time of disconnection. A tag is still delivered at the residence prior to disconnection with instruction included. Just a fYi, you all are so so so horrible. Your customer service department should have different name, it should certainly not be “customer service”. You all treat your customers terrible. If fact you are so bad, that I want to move to a destination where connexus energy does not service. I placed a security password on my account, which I could not remember. When I called in, the operator told me I had to come into the office and prove my identity to unlock the password. I obviously have a job and cannot accommodate this r... read more
There has been 2 power outages in a week..... This totals 6 in 2 1/2 months. Your service is down right third world country status. We should be refunded money based on paying you for money your obviously not putting into making the power grid better.
