You will spend 1-2.5 hours waiting each time, he will either spend 2 minutes with you or 20 depending on if he's in a hurry and just throwing a refill at you or wanting to talk at you about completely useless, personal and just downright odd topics. Lacks compassion and people skills. A joke example of the profession but he will write meds for those looking for this only. If you want a real experience and need a skilled psychiatrist with your wellbeing a concern, run in another direction.
Dr. Conner is not helpful AT ALL. I went to my husbands appt (by the request of the dr) to give the Dr my thoughts since I know my husband best. I had a different opinion of his treatment plan than the Dr. He immediately had smart, condescending comments towards my opinion. He was unwilling to hear mine or my husbands opinions regarding diagnosis or treatment. We ended up leaving as he was unwillingly to help since we disagreed. He is arrogant and condescending! Do not see this doctor!
Dr. Conner is worth the wait. He's not my first psychiatrist. You will definitely wait and hour or more to get in for your appointment, but when it's your turn he takes his time with you. He backs up all meds with research facts and is extremely knowledgeable. I feel so much better since I became a patient of his.
Dr. Connor has worked with me to find the right combination of meds. He is extremely knowledgeable; his son Chris Conner is in the same office and is an outstanding psychotherapist.
The most annoying thing is how the secretaries call the day of the appointment. Everywhere else calls at least a day before for a reminder. It's just a way for people to have to pay more if they forgot about their appointment.
