Someone in the kitchen has an affinity for Kobe beef, meaning diners are always well fed. I was there for a conference. Chicken was ok, vegetables were raw, servers were very nice. 2nd day of conference, less people, chicken again, raw vegetable...agsin...left over desserts..bathrooms were NOT kept up overflowing trash cans... Talena was GREAT...
This will be the second year in a row Columbus Mortgage Bankers Association Build-a-Bike event benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Columbus, has taken place at The Boat House. I was a one of the coordinators putting together the event. I worked mostly with Ashley and Garrett. They, along with the rest of the Boat House and their staff, were fantastic. My husband and I went there last night for what was a special night for us. The view was amazing, the service was decent, but we had got up to go take a picture outside, we went back to our seats to find all our food and drink were picked up like we had left. I even left my purse there to show we would be right back. Yes they only charged us for 1 meal and nothing else but I would of thought the manager would of came over and apologized himself. He never did. Again....amazing view. But staff could use some work.
Good food! I will be back! Treated my husband for his birthday and we had a good time eating some good food!!
The waitresses do not dress as nicely as they should for this type of establishment. Also, my friends and I had a waitress who was constantly talking to her fellow coworkers about taking illegal narcotics. Based off of that, I don't believe the establishment consistently drug tests their employees. I found the woman to be rude and distasteful.
Management & Staff is super nice, beautiful view but the drinks were not very good at all. That's why I gave it 4 stars...
