Frozen custard is a gourmet ice cream made fresh right in front of your eyes and usually served within a couple hours of being made. Regular ice cream is harder and frozen for days or weeks before being served. The secret is all in the barrel. The freezing barrel is where the mix turns into frozen custard. I am sad to see they are no longer in the shopping center with Deseret Books. I wonder where the went to, or if they went out of business
We love Coney's !! I was introduced to this fabulous shop in 2006 by my husband, and we have made it a celebration tradition ever since then. The service is fantastic, the burgers and fries are irreplaceable, and every single scoop of custard is delicious. I only liked this page just to say I was pretty disappointed with Coneys Frozen Custard. It was 9:30pm and all I wanted was a Coney dog with no onions. I couldn't get a coney dog with no onions because they had closed the grill down 30 min early. You guys should close at 9:30pm. UHG!
