My husband had a heart attack many years ago. He was rushed by ambulance to Cone Hospital. Dr Varanasi was on call. He put 2 stents in within 30 minutes of arriving to the ER. My husband only spent 2 nights in the hospital. Dr V is an excellent cardiovascular Dr. I hate he is leaving the practice. He treated my husband for many years . He will be missed.
6 months to get an appointment with my cardiologist after a heart attack..ridiculous!

Dr. Mahesh Chandrasekhar is the most personable and lovely doctor I have ever had the privilege of seeing. He was nice, considerate, and sought out answers to my dilemma in a swift and timely manner. I'm so grateful for him. I was very scared to have to see a cardiologist, but he made me feel completely at ease. He deserves the utmost respect, and makes me believe that the medical field is actually here to help us.
Cone Heart Health is terrible. It took days to get someone on the phone. Doctor’s could not answer my questions. Ended up going to Duke…. So glad I did. Night and day experience. I can only imagine the damage caused by their incompetence…
