The toilets on the ground floor (behind reception) are consistently filthy. I have been visiting a relative for the past 6 weeks and it doesn't look like they have been cleaned at all during that time. The roster is signed to indicate that they are regularly cleaned but, as can be seen from the photos, this clearly is false. My relative spent 6 months in and out of hospital at the start of last year and the toilets were just as disgraceful then. Emergency wait is over 6 hours
I've had 6 knee operations last 2 were full knee replacements both hips replaced right shoulder reconstruction twice spinal fusion in my neck c456 from 2009 to 2023 concord hospital was my 2nd home the drs Peter walker Paul de torre saied kohnan John trantarlias are up there with the world's best in my opinion the nurses absolutely incredible all the people in rehabilitation are great even down to the tea and coffee people awesome this hospital even under the pressure they are always in do a incredible job these drs rebuilt ... read more
Admitted 9 am on 12/2/26 and discharged 2:30 pm on 13/2/26, Concord Hospital was amazing! Every staff member on Level 5, East Side, Bed 48—from the cleaners to doctors (and even the chaplain!)—you all worked so well together, with humour and care throughout. I met a lifelong friend, felt truly cared for, and wish I’d written everyone’s names because you all deserve a raise!
Best hospital I have been to in Sydney or NSW the treatment I received from staff all the staff even the wardsman came in with a lot of pain felt so alone but because of the nicest people I never felt alone there is good management here too
