I went to Concord Medical Centre on 8/4/21 for a back injury and was already in a lot of pain. Once again, the young receptionist didn’t put my file in the queue for the doctor. There were only about 5 patients waiting and 4 doctors on, but I still ended up waiting over an hour.I only realised something was wrong when I saw a new patient walk in and get seen before me. Dr Steven Tongson has been my GP for over 12 years even after moving out of the area I still travel more than an hour just to see him that’s how much I trust him he’s more like a family member than a doctor always patient with my endless questions never rushes me and always gives honest advice he genuinely cares and always tries to help me manage my health without depending on pills I recommend him to anyone who wants a doctor that actually listens and treats you like a human not just a number.
Dr illanko is one of the best doctors I have come across she has been my Dr for years and is very caring and thorough I highly recommend Dr illanko
I called Today to check if the medical centre taking new patient for my 2 years old son and if they are open until 8pm. The receptionist told me yes but they are closing earlier Today so I have to be there before 6:30pm. I then rushed to there at approx. 6pm and was told by her they charged $1xx for new patient! I was shocked even a 2 years old baby they wanna charge that much? I hope the receptionist could tell me that on the phone. I ended up leaving and driving to Burwood for another medical Centre. Poorly trained doctors with no concern for medical ethics or following industry guidelines. Very poor bedside manner with no empathy, compassion or concern for patient care. Its run like a production line to maximise profit by judging a “customers” willingness to pay I.e. can they afford a gap or should we just bulk bill to earn revenue and pray on low SES patients.
