This place has honestly helped me in more ways than I can imagine. Came here with major depressive disorder, way too extreme downs and lows, and complete lack of impulse control. When all the other services weren’t there for me, Walker unit was. I will forever be grateful for the help. They always make sure I feel heart and listened to. Came in as a voluntary patient , and honestly right from the start the nurses have no level of respect towards patients ill or in detox. The negligence coming from the staff , treating their patients is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Nurses would rather huddle up in the office and start criticising peoples illness & behaviours.
