My appointment was at two, and we arrived early. I did not see the doctor until almost 330. No one came in to check on us or apologize for the wait. Once I saw the doctor, it seemed like he had no idea why I was there or that I had x-rays or an MRI done prior to my arrival. He spent maybe 10 minutes with me before onto the next. I expected better, and was greatly disappointed. We will see how the next appointment goes before I go get a second opinion somewhere else.

Not a long wait. First visit for an evaluation of my issues. Dr. was very considerate with his time. Took time to explain the issue with my spine, what procedure would be needed and the hospitalization and recovery Have not yet had the surgery.
Felt at ease with the doctor he was very easy to talk to was willing to answer all my questions
He ordered a CT scan because MRI don't show in anything cause I have medal in my neck.
Yesterday was my 10 day followup for back surgery. On my way home afterwards I experienced severe nausea and vomiting. Tried contacting office through the portal to get refill on nausea medication. But as of 1:30 pm the portal isn’t getting through. This one area, the patient portal, is only hiccup in the whole process. I also use MyChart for similar communications, with far better results. Dr. Conaughty showed me the MRI pictures and explained them clearly and simply. He answered my questions and asked if I had more. He explained why he chose one treatment instead of another. His nurse and staff were friendly and considerate, and helpful
From checking to checkout everyone was courteous and professional. My wife and I were very impressed with the doctors explanation of my X-rays and his prognosis for future treatment. Highly recommend this surgeon to anyone with back issues.
