I took my laptop in for repair. Told them it would only boot in safe mode. They called and said it wouldn't boot at all. Fine. Quote $250 to get me going again. Laptop done and bill is $343. Fine, They did other stuff without telling me cost was going to be more to give me the option of agreeing or not. Whatever. Got laptop back missing all my pictures which was the only reason I went with the fix instead of buying another laptop in the first place. Okay, maybe it wasn't recoverable.
