Don't waste your money going to places like Best Buy that charge up to $200.00 for a scan before they even begin to fix your comp. Was there today but now they don't take walk-ins. Thank goodness, for after that I found Computer Solutions & Services 3 blocks from my house right in Steger. Marlon Sampson (owner), just opened up my computer, found out what was making the noise, fixed it with some cleaning and I was out the door saving hundreds of dollars if I stayed at Best Buy. Found their service to be exceptional! This is one company that provides comprehensive service at a reasonable price. Had concerns about the new Windows 8 program and needed it installed in my new computer but am not tech savvy. Also needed to have files from old computers transferred. I went to this store almost a month ago to have my computer serivced, to fix Operating system problems. Then two week later my opitcal drive wouldn't close and the computer could not recognize it . They told me it might be the motherboard and they they will call me in couple of day to let me know what was wrong with my computer. I called them after a week, and all I got was bunch of excuses and run arounds. Then they finally called me.
