Sean has been working on computers since home computers were available to the public! Don't be surprised if he suggests a different idea to what you are suggesting in terms of repair. I myself am very knowledgeable as well but my request would have taken more time to effectuate and time = $. His idea worked just as well as what I wanted. When I picked it up in 1.5 days a WiFi driver wasn't working right when we tested it at the shop. He showed me that and I said I could fix that at home. The owner is very knowledgeable and takes great pride in his work. Great place to go for older computer supplies as well as new.
