Most jewelers send watches off-site for such a job, quoting a 3-week turnaround. As for Compton Jewelers, which employs an on-site watchmaker, my battery replacement took all of 6 minutes. Additionally, I'm certain their warchmaker can perform most other watch repairs onsite. Haven't found any business in the city able to offer this breadth of services on-site, so I can't recommend them enough. Additionally, prices are far cheaper (50%+ cheaper) than any jewelers I've used in the past.
I’ve gotten a custom watch repaired here and ordered some beautiful silver jewelry. They are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, not to mention reasonably priced. When my bracelet came and was slightly longer than I’d hoped, they offered to have their goldsmith adjust it at no extra charge. Highly recommended! They also have a beautiful selection of jewelry in the store - especially women’s.
Such a wonderful experience getting to custom design my engagement ring. Susan is so wonderful and very communicative! The prices are great, I’m sending all my friends here!
Wow, this place is amazing! I had two watches I had gotten at an outdoor market stall in Europe that had stopped working (classic) and everywhere else I went to told me it was gonna be 1-2 weeks turnaround time and about a million bucks to fix. These guys said “gimme 5 mins” went into the back, changed the batteries and fixed them, and came back out and handed them back to me good as new!! Absolutely thrilled. And only charged me $18 each. Fantastic if you need a quick and easy watch fix!
