I've been a patient at Comprehensive pain center since around 2016. After trying a few of the orthopedic suggestions that had not relieved my pain. The complications started after I was hit by a car in 1992. Then years later in 2001 I was loosing balance. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2004. All of these various spasms and pain came onto me for years before I found the pain Center. They were giving me 30mg of oxycodone 4 to 5 times a day. Perhaps the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever met. He made horrible comments about my wearing a mask and taking immunosuppressants, cancelled my appointments, after I arrived, and last he cursed and screamed in his waiting room, after someone gave him a critique about not calling to cancel their appointment, before they arrived. His bed side manner is horrific. I’ll never let this man touch me again. Zero ways he should be allowed to get near people with a needle. His temperament just doesn’t make for a good doctor.
Tried to call and make an appointment and the receptionist yelled over me to ask what kind of insurance I had. I’ve never had a medical professional be so rude. I’d rather be in pain than have to deal with office staff like this.
Have been going here for years to maintain pain control after two back surgeries failed to stop my pain. Dr Khan is definitely NOT a favorite of mine as his brusque bedside manner leaves much to be desired, having. the audacity to compare your pain to his stating how he suffered same issues years ago and how wonderful they feel now. Telling you not to be such a crybaby when jamming in an injection into your back or slamming in a secondary dose after a RACZ procedure into a small space following catheter insertion. They are very incompetent when it comes to clerical work and tell you one thing and do another. They misapplied my payments and when I try to resolve the issue with them they do not do as discussed. Additionally, I requested a billing summary for my appointments to help resolve the issue and they refused. I requested a statement of my account and they provided a difficult to read report which was also not provided by date. The clerical staff require additional training.
