My mom saw Dr. Yamaguchi in 2019 for pain caused by bunions. Dr. Yamaguchi said the surgery would take several months to heal and the pain level would be intense, she doesn’t recommend it since my mom’s in her 70’s. Five years went by, my mom suffers daily, the pain traveled to her legs and back she finally saw another doctor for a second opinion. Dr. Yamaguchi saved my feet. When I arrived in Honolulu and first saw her, I had severe tendon pain and she said I would probably need surgery, but as a start she gave me new orthotics, and a series of exercises. With her help, I became pain free. ,
Dr. Yamaguchi is an awesome podiatrist Dr. When I got referred to her from my other podiatrist, I immediately felt so comfortable talking and communicating with her and her staff. I didn’t want to go back to my other podiatrist. I wasn’t comfortable with him. She has gone beyond her way and more when treating me with all my issues in both feet. Dr Yamaguchi helped with my foot issues. Was able to provide orthotics for my foot pain from wearing my work boots all day.
Had to FILE multiple complaints with my healthcare insurer about Quinton Wong, DPM. Wong REFUSED to respond to the insurer after their multiple attempts. Believe he misdiagnosed me. Wong refused to provide services and denied needed supplies and products -- although I offered to pay out-of-pocket. I immediately complained. Wong never apologized to me or offered to correct the situation. Staff -- Mary and Rowena -- are excellent. Dr. Yamaguchi always treated me with respect.
