It took 4–5 days just to get a response. My previous prescriber left her position abruptly, and CCS had no one available to help refill my controlled medication for a chronic pain condition. I ended up in the hospital due to withdrawal symptoms. Thankfully, I was able to find a new network with faster response times and prescribers who genuinely care about their patients. In retrospect I see how horrible my care under Dr Martinez was several years ago. He more or less accused me of being a drug addict and would no longer prescribe me anti anxiety medication unless I took a drug test. He would always comment on me bouncing my leg during sessions (im assuming thats why he thought I was on a controlled substance) . Now with my recent adult ADHD diagnosis it all makes sense, thats a common symptom/stemming behavior with ADHD that I have been doing most of my life
