My oral appliance has been a game changer! Before getting my oral sleep appliance, I woke up constantly-thinking each time that I needed to use the restroom, when in reality, I wasn’t breathing. I tossed and turned and felt exhausted every day. Now, with the appliance, I finally sleep deeply, and wake up with more energy throughout the day. I’m so grateful for how much it has improved my life. Dr. Rappaport is extremely professional. The entire process is easy, including taking care of insurance billing without any issues.
Never got an appointment because I was told Medicare would not cover the testing, even though Medicare is listed on their page. Maybe Medicare will cover the appliance but not the testing….? Receptionist over the phone was not helpful and seemed unsure.
My husband had the worst sleep apnea for years; we slept separately, myself, in another bedroom, door shut & white noise on to drown out his snoring. After researching this problem, I decided to resume sleeping in the same room bc of his not breathing or gasping for breath (nudged him plenty of times to wake up). This was not good for me!
