The Complete Dog opened in August of 1998 and is completely insured. We are one of the original Cage Free grooming salons in Chicago's northern suburbs. While being a cage free environment, the Complete Dog is a place where dogs can come to socialize and become part of the pack. Once I found Birgit owner, especially as a foster of special fosters. been going 20+ yrs. she's a licensed guardian of rescue level 2 and always has 4+ dogs, all breeds adopted in her care. she was the 1st that shared about fostering, saying Ceil, I think you'd be good at this. 50+dogs later, I thank you, Birgit♡
OMG! Best service EVER! I will NEVER EVER go anywhere else again! I seriously can not thank you Brigit, enough. Very fair pricing, ready quickly, very professional, handled my senior Great Pyrenees with just that right touch.

Birgit is the best dog groomer in the North Shore. She has a high energy, warm and welcoming personality that her customers and more importantly, the dogs love. Birgit styles our dogs hair with precision and love. We have also boarded our dogs with Birgit several times - the litmus, our dogs love her! I give the Complete Dog my highest recommendation!
Birgit makes sure every dog is happy AND looks their best!! I love that they get to socialize ratjer than hang out crated...
