Our experience with this company has been deeply disappointing. We began with palliative care for my mother-in-law and later transitioned to hospice as her health declined. When she began improving, she requested scans to evaluate her cancer’s progress. At that point, hospice staff told her she would be discharged if she pursued that option. Compassus provided quality care throughout my cousin Amber’s final stages of life. Her nurses were compassionate, attentive, and always responsive to our questions and needs. Her primary nurse, Vickie Vanderwalker, was utterly fantastic and there were other nurses who also helped, especially Raquel, who came in towards the end and provided all we needed. Dr ward is wonderful he has shown my husband more compassion and kindness through this than I ever could have hoped for! He does home visits, phone visits, and video call visits anything they can do to make the process easier on the patient. Than there is Rebecca not only does she work her butt off making sure Donovan’s medicines are filled in a timely manner and all the moving parts she makes it happen and makes it look easy.. which we know it most definitely is NOT!! Recommended by hospital, we chose Compassus over a few others. This was the best move we could make. Dr Ward was wonderful with my aunt, the admission process went smoothly and we learned more than expected about our duties as a family and the love and care the cna and nurses would shower my aunt with. The staff was wonderful and compassionate. Highly recommend.

I am a nurse at Lifecenter of Colorado Springs, nurses and CNA come into the facility to provide care for our residents and I have nothing but respect for the professionalism , and collaboration with staffs. They are good ambassadors of the company . It has been a great experience to be partners with your company. I also want to complement Kat Nunez, CNA and Amy Mouning, RN. They are great team and go above and beyond to take care of the patients and are very helpful to the staffs .
