Compassus cared for my aunt Fran 5 years ago. They were beyond amazing and we're so patient. My aunt went to Bear Creek for respite which is where she passed. Bear Creek and Compassus were so good to her. We can't thank you enough.

Hello my name is Christopher Lang and I live in woodland park. I am 52 and I have pretty bad COPD. I was offered palitive care by my pulmonologist. And after a while I decided I would so I can get more help with my symptoms. Especially when I get air hunger and I feel like a fish out of water gulping for air and filling my lungs but not getting oxygen. I'm on oxygen 24/7. Goodness, where do I start…. We have honestly never experienced such consistently wonderful care (mother-in-law in hospice), as we have from the COS compasses team. Absolutely everyone, including those manning the main telephone line, has been incredibly compassionate, competent and professional. Our regular weekday visits from Amy, Kat, and Jacob are such a pleasure. This difficult period is made so much more tolerable because of them. I have been a patient for just over 3 years now, recently my pain level went to bad to worse. I called to have an evaluation done to switch to hospice care. Nurse Jodie came out and we talked, she told me since my blood clotting problem had not been diagnosed, I could not switch. She did some digging and found that my oddly shaped blood cells(that 2 hematologists could not figure out) could be caused by nutritional deficiency.
