We got off to a slow start. There were some communication problems at first and delays with getting medical equipment as well as some of the meds but after 3 or 4 days, they did come through with everything they promised in the beginning.
This hospice agency is the worst of the worst. I am caring for a client who is their patient, and the nurse from this agency has refused to have the client sleep on an air mattress even though one has been delivered to the client's home. The client is restless and can't sleep at night, but this nurse hasn't called in anything to help keep this client calm and restful. The sad thing about it all is that the family is new to this, and since I work for a different agency, not hospice, I don't want to start issues here. This is ... read more

I should’ve known better than to take any recommendation from Piedmont Fayette hospital but alas I did and like everything else that’s even tangentially associated with that place, their recommendation for hospice was abysmal. My father arrived 5 HOURS before the Compassus nurse!! I had zero supplies bc they had assured me that they would provide me with everything I needed… I had to race to Target to buy a bunch of supplies- towels, rags, diapers, wipes, puppy pads, etc (when I finally did get “everything I needed” on the 2... read more
