Mom has been home from the hospital for 4 days. 3 different nurses have reached out to the Doctors on call and none will return calls or sign orders! Meanwhile, mom is in pain and extremely combative and having adverse reaction to prescribed meds! Help!! Rome is burning over here!!

Each caseworker, Nurse, and Nurses assistants are so incredibly caring and kind.. They explain every step of this process and help make it easy to understand all that was going on with my grandmother.. I highly recommend Compassus for palliative or hospice needs. Compassus Saginaw has some wonderful aides. The first nurse we had just left without notice or explanation. The current nurse Amanda told my sister that Covid-19 is being overblown in the media when my mom contracted pneumonia. I wanted her removed from my mother's care. 100,000+ Americans are dead and at that point I felt unsafe with her attending to the needs of my 89 year old mother. RecommendedI cant sing praises loud enough to the tireless ladies who have been coming to my home to care for me since my Surgery. all of them have been the shining light in my life bringing with them kindness and hope at this scary time in our world. Staff was working short could tell the tension in staff care . As my loved one was blessed by God she got better . Christmas day was a miracle with love and prayers . Staff unfortunately almost become upset that my sister was beating death . We stayed with her every day and staff as we knew at first was caring . As soon my sister was beating death the tension with staff was Not good. A nurse said one night to my sister referring to my self and another family member. the communication is horrible. no one returns phone calls, yet you need to be at home when they come.
