We used this agency at the recommendation of the nursing home my grandmother was in. The agency staff was kind, caring and diligent to make sure my grandmother’s needs were met for the 4 weeks she was on hospice. They were prompt to respond to family needs and concerns. However, the reason for our low rating was due to the fact that hospice never showed up at the nursing home the day my grandmother died. Nor in the days following, did anyone reach out to us. I am reaching out for this agency in behalf of my grandmother because of the positive experience with them in caring for for an individual I worked for. Their mission and focus was quality of life rather than end of life. It was a comforting experience rather than anxiety over whether the right decisions were being made. If individuals who work in this field are not sure that all they put out is appreciated I would like to say Life Choice (now Compassus) are wonderful. Thank You!
