I just sponsored my 2nd child. I am impressed with every aspect of "Compassion". The act of sponsoring a child in need is priceless in itstelf. I have been sponsoring children with Compassion for over 35 years and currently sponsor 4: 2 in Bolivia and 1 each in Haiti and Uganda. I believe strongly in what it stands for and am proud to be a small part of the work they do. I love my children and look forward to every letter I receive from them. They are a true joy and blessing in my life. I pray that they will feel and know God's love for them through me and that I will make a positive difference in their lives.

I used to donate to Compassion International for years until they heavily promoted and supported the movie Son of God. It is produced by Roma Downey who is herself a new age follower (never claimed to be anything else). She says she's a Christian but as the Bible says in Matthew 6:24 "You can't serve two masters for you will love one and hate the other". She on one hand says she loves God but on the other follows the teachings of Eckhart Tolle (A New Earth). The Bible Miniseries and Son of God movie have many inconsistencies... read more
