We stayed at Blue Surf 21. I do have to say that Compass Resorts and their customer service was amazing. They called to check on us the day before check in. They knew we’d be down early (Destin traffic is terrible on Saturdays), so they called much earlier than our check in time to let us know our condo was ready. We thought the AC was broken and they called us in a timely manner to schedule service, but that was not needed. As wonderful as they were, the condo itself was not great. I worked with Compass Resorts Rental Management Company for 3 years. In that time I had more than 5 different rental managers managing my property. They will nickel and dime you for everything in your condo. The maids steal stuff and then you'll have to pay for the item to be replaced. I paid for the maintenance plan too but it seemed like every other month I was paying for batteries, brooms and other minor stuff.
