Over a month and the billing dept gal still has not fixed/addeessed the online payment concerns. Not very friendly or polite.
HOA's pay attention to this new law regarding all board members having to register with FinCEN. This is board members giving their name, address, date of birth, and drivers license to FinCEN. It has to do with protection against fraud. Fine it is the law. What I am upset about is the scam Compass is doing to their companies they manage. They are making us pay $500 for them to enter 5 board members into this system.When the board can go into the free system and enter the info themselves. I am a former board member. This management company has essentially stolen money from the association by not doing what it is contracted to do. The entire association is up in arms. The executive team offers nothing but lip service. I feel compelled to warn others in my industry. If you are considering hiring this company, I would just steer clear. I've tried to give this HOA management company a chance. However, unfortunately I'm going to have to give them a one star. As you can tell by other people's communication and reviews, they do have an issue holding quality communication or updating their residents. This has happened to me multiple times. One time costing myself over $10,000 and just recently some sort of financial error on their side causing another potential large sum charge. Worst HOA company we’ve had. They send notifications of violations without having any proof. One of the notifications was some people were parked on my lawn. Not my friends but because it was my lawn I should have somehow known? They could have run the license plates to find out they weren’t my vehicles. But no. Guilty without question. I got another notification about dog feces. I walked our whole HOA area. 17 lawns with dog feces and I’m the only one who got a notification.
