My rescue fear aggressive dog woke up with a very red and swollen eye. Its always a stressful event to take her to the vet due to her aggressive behavior towards strangers. I called Companions and Dr. Lyons had an immediate opening. We muzzled Penny and brought her in. Dr. Lyons was AMAZING!! She took her in the back treatment room and had my husband help hold her and gave me peanut butter on a stick to keep her busy. Dr. Klemenger and her whole staff are wonderful! They took great care of my 15+ year old dog, easing him through surgery and recovery capably and gently. Then followed up with a phone call the next day. There are other vets who are closer to Long Beach, but we go here.
They saved my cats life and quality of living. Twinkles still has that twinkle in her eye and is a happy and healthy adjusted kitty. Your work with All About Cats is awesome, thank you.

So thankful for their care for all our dogs and cat and rabbit too! Above and beyond! Especially our miracle recovery for Romeo pictured here by a memorial to another faithful canine who waited outside the hospital for his deceased owner every day until he died 12 years later.

Best vets ever. We have two dogs a black lab mix and a bassador. The vets and other staff there are very friendly, professional and courteous. They attend to all the dogs needs. Dogs are not afraid of them. Both dogs are rescues and after we adopted them, very thorough check-ups were done. We have pet insurance and they take care of the forms for us. After a dog is there for an illness, etc, they call the next day to see how the dogs are. I wouldn't go to any other vet ever.
Everyone there is absolutely amazing. They truly care about the animals and it feels like family whenever I walk in the door. Everyone always greets us with a smile. I moved about a half hour away but still drive there (no matter what the traffic) because their care is so above the norm.
