Companion Animal Hospital has always been very accommodating of my pet care business needs. They show tremendous flexibility with scheduling appointments at times on very short notice and are a trusted service provider. From animal care to food purchases, they are skilled and very reasonably priced. Special thanks to Dr. Slaunwhite, Jaqueline, Amberlee, Ashley and the whole team for their assistance over the almost two decades we have relied on their services.
Unbelievably hurt by how we were treated when our 16.5 year old cat that we brought there for many years recently got sick. This is not directed at Dr. Slaunwhite. My cats loved him. But when we needed the clinic most, they failed to call back, they failed to fill prescription on time, and failed to offer empathy over the phone. They were short and impatient with my questions and concerns. The whole experience was awful.
I am incredibly disappointed with the level of service and attention to detail companion animal hospital has fallen into. I brought my dogs here after dealing with another vet that clearly only cared about the money. Companion offered a wonderful caring environment to bring your pets. That was then. Unfortunately that commitment to customer service is no longer present today. Booking appointments is a frustrating experience. Call only to be on hold a minimum of 10 minutes. Best vet I have ever been to since losing my last vet of 40 years, eric carnegy. He recommended companion and I am glad he did. You guts go above and beyond.
I had brought my senior cat to this vet in 2021 for a lumpectomy that was successful and he recovered like a champ and here I thought I had found my reliable Vet clinic. Early last year, my senior cat was losing weight and throwing up infrequently- this clinic was not the right choice for us. In our initial conversation, we discussed his symptoms and our next steps after the bloodwork.
