awesome vet! Between my daughters and myself we have a total of eight cats. Companion does and awesome job taking care of them. Dr. Allen is very attentive and caring.
Not sure We were new to Plano, we found the doctor by driving by a few years ago. The doctor was friendly to our Kitty and to us. The office staff was ok, it depends who is working. The doctor appears to be very knowledgeable about cats. The office cats are great for humans (I love to pet them), not so great for visiting cats (most house cats like mine, are not use to other cats) which made my kitty very nervous and uneasy. Great Family Vet My family has been taking their animals to Companion Hospital for several years. We have taken in over 10 animals to this vet from hamsters to German Shepherds, and we've never had a problem! Dr. Allen has fixed more than 6 of my family's dogs and cats, and all them were up and running the day of surgery! No problems at all! Dr. Allen is especially good with cats! If anyone ever has a problem or question all you have to do is ask or mention it(apparently not easy for some people).
Great Vet! We have been taking my 10 year old mix breed to Dr. Allen for the past 3 years. We originally went to Dr. Allen for a second opinion because of a prior mouth surgery from other vet. We were impressed w/ him from day 1 because he chose to aggressively treat our dog. The other vet kept telling me he would be fine and get better (which he didn't). Response to Laura G's review I am looking for a vet in town and I thought your defense of the companion animal hospital says that obviously you have been a client for far too long. To have called the woman a irresponsible pet owner is way over the top.First of all, just the fact that she was taking her dogs in for their shots makes her responsible.Second you stated she was irresponsible because she did not catch the vet's error. Re: Not the best.... I am sorry for your loss, I know what it is like to have to put an animal down. HOWEVER - I have been taking my animals to this Clinic for years. Not only do I find the staff friendly and willing to help but Dr. Allen is a very warm, compassionate and caring Doctor that cares deeply for the animals in his Care. Confusion? Not the friendliest service We were new to town and found Dr. Allen through the internet. After viewing his website I thought he sounded like a friendly place to go.
