RecommendedThese folks re compassionate and loving. Usually, both my dog and I are frightened of any type of Dr., but these folks instantly calmed us both down!
I have to write again another thank you to the Friday staff at Suburban, and more specifically Dr McKinney. Our senior Rescue Gypsy Rose went into sudden failure due to metastatic cancer this week. He sat and listened patiently to our love for our girls and went over the Euthanasia steps. We were given time to say goodbye and then he helped us compassionately stop her pain and suffering. We have always been pleased with the care our cats have received at Suburban. I was especially grateful for them on Saturday. I knew it was time to say goodbye to our beloved 17.5 yr old cat. From the phone call I dreaded making at 8 Am until I left, my cat and I were treated with the greatest of compassion. I LOVE DR. B. SHE TAKES EXCELLENT CARE OF MY OLLIE GIRLIE. SHE REALLY LOVES HER LIKE SHE WAS HER OWN. WHEN MY OLLIE HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL AND WAS DISCARGED ON A SUNDAY DR. B CALLED ME FROM HER HOME TO MAKE SURE OLLIE AND I WERE OK. LOVE DR. B...SHE IS THE GREATEST. THANK YOU TO DR. I recently lost my beloved guniea pig, Blue, a week ago from tomorrow. While we were at the office the staff and Dr.McKinney worked VERY fast and did everything they could to help him and make the rest of his time as comfortable as possible. I could not reccomend a better hospital for your pets, they truly do care about every single patient and we plan to take our future buddies here as well!
We were clients of Dr Mckinney at East River who just merged with Suburban. But we cannot rave enough about how wonderful the staff at Suburban has been. They are so knowledgable, kind, and gentle with our pets. They take such amazing care of not only the animals but us humans as well. We cannot thank the entire staff at Suburban enough for their compassion and care. We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved 11.5 year old pup and they treated all of us so wonderfully during such a difficult time.
The entire staff is always professional and kind. They are always helpful and knowledgeable. I love that they all love Griffin and take an interest in his well being. Today when we were there for his follow-up from his ER visit some of the staff (not involved in his appointment) came to check on Griffin to make sure he was doing well. Love these folks!

Dr Fisher is the best. wouldn't take my babies anywhere else
These people are amazing! Something as simple as taking my little boy� in for a nail trim made me instantly trust them. You can tell as soon as you walk in that they want you and your animal to be comfortable. They let me go in for the nail trimming so my boy� felt safe. They gave me great recommendations to help prevent discomft, and they did their best to make a stressful visit comftorable.
