Got Lice Caution! Tried on a blouse in the store and purchased it. I became infested with some obstinate lice that was traced to the garment. Caution! They need to fumigate. I've thrown out my bedding and have had a hellatious battle getting rid of them. PROS: CONS: When a bargain isn't...

Great thrift store finds and prices! You can furnish an entire home with the great things you find here...and many times you'll end up taking home all sorts of things you never bargained on - for a bargain! You name it, they have it - clothes, furniture, housewares, knick knacks, books, music, etc.
Depends on what you're looking for. This store gets a lot of traffic and often times you have to wait in line a while when there is only one chashier. But you can score some good finds. Clothes? forget about it, it's really picked over. Furniture and electronics are good though. I've found stuff that would sell for 3 times as much at a retro antique place here.
Baskets and Books galore Unlike most thrift stores, Community Thrift does not offer a large selection of clothing. They do however, have an aisle packed with wicker baskets and pots, for some unknown reason. They also have a large selection of very cheap, very kitschy knick-knacks. But the main reason I go to Community Thrift is there huge selection of trade paperbacks. I often get books here that are barely in stores, and they are generally under $1. The store is dingy, but it is well worth it if you love books.
Community Thrift Store has a 4.1 star rating with 487 reviews.
