The PEOPLE!!! The staff treated me more like family than a patient!! lol
My significant came to Tom's River Community Medical center ER yesterday with extremely elevated blood pressure and heart rate. He was admitted and treated and thankfully the situation resolved. However we have now been sitting here for over 24 hours waiting for a cardiologist to see him and give us some information/let him go home. The nursing staff is excellent, but no one seems to be able to contact the doctor assigned to him. Nor will they contact another doctor instead. The most unprofessional setting of medical “professionals” I’ve ever seen. Teenagers not correctly assessing a scene after a car crash as well as ER nurses & doctors also not properly assessing injuries. Both parties did not even do concussion protocol. Prescribed heavy narcotics with a undiagnosed concussion. Absolutely absurd.
Came in for Hip replacement. All staff has been so attentive. Right from the pre op to today my surgery day. from the moment you walk in and prep for op and operating room and now on rhe 3rd floor. Dr. Kasper my doctor. Great Experience.
We welcomed our baby into the world on 11/12/18. From start to finish the doctors and nursing staff were amazing . Dr. Repole and Dr. Colbert preformed my c section . Our nurses were Cheryl , Faye, Maddie and Maureen and they went above and beyond for me for the 4 days I was in the hospital after my c section.I would definitely recommend community medical center for the birth of your child! Great experience!
Unfortunately last five years or so I’ve been in and out a lot due to health issues. Almost all the nurses and their assistants work their butts off and I feel for them with long shifts and stress. I went to ER around two weeks ago with a bad calf pain for several days and had some anxiety of a blood clot along with a major shoulder issue where I can’t even move my shoulder. In Oct 2017 my child came into the hospital to receive stitches. At the time, the billing department's computer system was down and I was unable to pay my copay. Once I received the bill for my copay, in the mail, it was paid online. However Community Medical Center is stating it has not. I have repeatedly given them the confirmation number, date, and time the payment was made. I just came home today with my newborn and I cannot thank the nurses in maternity enough for how great they made my stay. Estee, Penina, Joanne, Sylvia, Kelly, and Paige thank you so much for answering all of my questions and being there to support me in every way possible. I cannot express how many fears of mine you eased with your guidance and knowledge! THANK YOU!
