My mother had stress test with Lexiscan. She was feeling really bad after they injected the medicine. I understand that shortness of breath, headache is expected. But hers was severe. They sent her to go and sit in the lobby by the Starbuck or suggested to go eat something. My daughter had low O2 sats in the upper 80’s. We were told by our MD to take her to the closest Hospital. We went to community south. The staff was rude at the admission counter but I chalked it up to being busy. I left my daughter in tears as I could not be with her. They put a pulse ox on her and left the room. No one did a full set of vital signs, or even put a stethoscope to her chest. No chest X-ray and no labs. They shoved a swab up her nose, threw papers in her lap. Told her to get dressed and leave.
