Super not cool to have an insurance specialist call me end of business Friday to essentially demand $1000 for a procedure Tuesday that has to be prepped for Monday when this procedure was scheduled 2 weeks ago. I’m not in a position to cancel the procedure since I’ve been incredibly sick. After getting annoyed and being connected to someone else, I’m told that it can be a different amount but this entire interaction was unnecessary and ridiculous. RecommendedGreat facility and I can’t say enough great things about the staff here from the front door to the room. Top notch!!! Dr coupens has done my right knee replacement in 2016 and now the left great doctor if your looking for great results!!! I highly recommend both the Doc and the facility!!!
Temperature checks are worthless if employees are in the office working then take turns after patients arrive to go downstairs and have thier temp taken🤦🏼♀️other than that it’s an incredible hospital incredibly clean , great staff ! Only complaint is dr office employees not having temp checked when coming in but only after working in office and around patients .
I have had knee surgery here twice. The check in area is very clean and the staff were very kind. The surgery are is amazing, very kind, compassionate and professional. Last time I had to stay the night. The floor staff is all of those same things! Very clean hospital. amazing experience. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone. 5 stars all the way!!
I had foot surgery just this morning with Dr Sherri Smith and Dr Roy as my anesthesiologist. I arrived at 0430 and was back in Norman by 1000. The staff is very efficient and if you get the chance for Dr Roy to administer the anesthesia, count yourself lucky (not that I have any experience with the others on staff, though). I had zero nausea and I snapped out of the loopiness faster than I ever have before. The facility and staff is top notch and I am very thankful for the care I was given.
Best experience we’ve had in a hospital ever! The nursing staff is excellent and went above and beyond to make my husband’s total knee replacement surgery a success. Everyone made us feel welcome and the rooms are so comfy. Thank you Community Hospital North!
Far and away the best experience I’ve ever encountered with any of my surgeries. The office staff the pre-op nurses recovery nurses overnight stay nurses were nothing short of phenomenal, the most pleasant professional and efficient outfit I’ve seen. My surgeon was a regular ray of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day. Dr. Jacob was excellent and if recovery continues as good as it has (10 days post-op) I will be pain free and whole again. Thank you to all those that made my experience what it was!
My journey started with a gun shot wound to my upper right thigh sustained while on field maneuvers at Ft. Bliss, Texas in August 1970. August 2018, I fell at home landing on both knees. VA ordered MRI of right knee revealed a torn meniscus. Surgery to correct this injury was done in April 2019 by another orthopaedic surgeon / hospital located on south side of the city. Doctors Jacob is very knowledgeable and is a great person. Nursing staff was great, very personable. They know their job and do it well. Krys is awesome at what she does. The whole team very professional. Hospital is top notch! Hospital is very clean and nice!
