I have met some amazing nurses at Gentiva hospice in Elizabeth city, North Carolina. The main two nurses that have been caring for me, in the past months would be Susan and Brenda. I don’t think I would’ve made it this far without them. They’re always there if and when I need them. And they tell me that….’whenever you need us will be right there just call’ and I have called and they have been right here. Gentiva Hospice provided my Dad and I with incredible care and compassion during a very difficult time. I want to especially recognize Jennifer, Brenda, and my Mom’s amazing nurse, Susan. I truly cannot say enough about Susan. She was not only professional and skilled, but also a blessing to my Dad. Her gentle presence, empathy, and patience made a world of difference. Ms Brenda is the most amazing nurse they have love her to pieces..they have a temporary nurse chris who seen my mom for the first time today and he did absolutely amazing...oh and I can't forget Jennifer and crystal they are some wonderful ladies as well
Susan has been my father in laws nurse while he's been here at our home on hospice, and Amber was his nurse on his first day here and was his nurse last night when we called with concerns! Amber came out at almost 11 at night last night to place her eyes on him and offer us comfort, even when we told her she didnt have to come out late! Finding out he had cancer and only possibly 2 weeks to live all hit us in the same day while he was put in the hospital for stomach pain just 1.5 weeks ago!
