The receptionist Shannon wasn’t listening to me. I had a dental appointment today at 6:15 AM that I was running late for. I called at 6:15 when they opened, but their telephone prompt system hangs up even after it confirms they’re open at 6:15. I called back two minutes later, and their telephone prompt hung up again. At 6:30 the same thing. At 635 I was told I’d have to reschedule as I was parking in the parking garage because I was more than 15 min late. UPDATE: 2 months post review and still no clarity. 3 weeks after my main review, I finally talked to Clara and left a complaint. An investigation was started, my mom received a letter in the mail letting her know. Now to 3/5- This week I have called Clara twice. Today I found out that Clara, the patient advocate, is remote and when she’s remote she is unable to answer or return any calls made to her. Wildly unhelpful. I am extremely disappointed with the care my mother received at this office. She came in with severe mouth pain that had persisted for several days. The dentist, Dr. Albert Kang, examined her briefly and said that her gums were inflamed, prescribing a rinse and nothing more. We repeatedly asked for guidance on next steps or a timeline for follow-up, as we were confident a rinse alone was not addressing the level of pain she was experiencing.
