The Community Boating Center fosters small-watercraft education, access and safe recreation on beautiful Bellingham Bay. Affordable 24-hour dry-moorage for kayaks, rowboats, and hand-launched sailboats is available throughout the year. During Boating Season (May-October) the CBC offers rentals, youth camps, and skills classes in sea kayaking, paddleboarding, rowing and sailing.

Great service, very knowledgeable people. So much fun! I can't afford a kayak of my own but their rentals are very manageable, and the location is great. I got to do a bit of bird watching from the kayak, including a huge grizzled old heron perched right near the dock. Definitely recommending this place to all my friends.
The Bellingham Community Boat Center is an awesome collection of leaders and volunteers who provide so much incredible service to the and provide so much fun for everyone. If you are curious about self powered water craft, come on down and experience this incredible and unique community resource.
An indispensable part of the North Sound community! Can't wait to get out again on the water this weekend with my niece who has never gone out in a kayak before!
Love this place! What a gem to the community. We are lucky to have a place like this right in Fairhaven.
