Value oriented education. San Francisco State University offers a number of transportation routes to its campus. Although, its a commuter university, it does offer a huge array of diversity, and knowledgeable students. The Business program there is very good, along with its Broadcasting department. The Computer Science department is extremely difficult, and takes a computer wiz to pass. San Francisco State University is a bit crowded, and there is very little run to stretch in class, due to the number of students on campus. ... read more

Decent California State School This is a commuter school. A lot of people take buses and trains to school daily. There is not whole lot going on in school or on campus. Many people just come to school to take classes and leave.

SF State There are way too many people that attend SF State. It is really difficult to get all of teh classes that you want, even as a senior. The tution is not that high, but there are so many hidden student fees that it is ridiculous. And teh area that it is located is so busy. Always traffic. But it is close to muni, which is a big plus. The education, I found, wasn't all that challenging. We did alot of the same stuff that I did back in high school.

SF State San Francisco State University isconveniently located next to the 28 bus line and teh muni bus lines. It is a great college with over 22, 000 students. There are alot of campus clubs that suit almost every taste. Also they have many political rallies that speak up for people that are unjustly persecuted. I like teh fast that SFSU tansfers in alot of credits from a junior college. But with so many people, it is hard to get the classes that you want. The tutuion prices are not sioo bad, but there are alot of extra fee... read more

An Ok experience My older sister went to this university and I went with her to buy her books. While she was searching for her books, a few employees asked her if she needed help, and located a few books for her. The line was long, however, the wait was not too bad.

SFSU I attended summer school at SFSU for 2 summer sessions. My experience there was amazing. My professors were very knowlegable. They were always around for the stdents to help with questions. Class size was a bit large, but that is what you can epect from a state school. Also the student population was grat. Most of the people that I encountered were wonderful. Students here tend to help each other more than being competitive. It was a great school experience.

The prices just keep going up and up I only attended as a graduate student, at night, but San Francisco State is a nice State School. The students are friendly and a lot of them smoke.

SFSU's MSP - Multimedia Studies Program is great! The Multimedia Studies Program provides students with the highest-quality instruction in all aspects of multimedia. I took Digital Audio I & II while working full time in the financial district, and then ended up in the TA program working in the same class as a hand's on TA for four semesters! They offer a rich and diverse curriculum, with classes in the theory, history, and aesthetics of multimedia, as well as in its design, tools, and business practices. Nearly 100 multimed... read more
