Sorry excuse for money management. I was keeping my account open after paying off a vehicle so I could use commonwealth one for a future loan. I was charged $5 for a inactive fee account fee. This charge left me with 6 cents total. Please feel free to keep the 6 cents as you clearly need it more than I do. I'm very sure someone else will loan me money for a car or something in the future ..
I have banked with COFCU since 1999, starting with Alexandria City FCU before they were bought. I've never had any major problems with them. They are customer friendly, always willing to help when anything does go awry (which happens sometimes), and just overall good to deal with.
It is April 1, went to my account to make sure money was available to pay bills..Automatic deposit does not show up...Never happened before when the 1st occurred on a Sat. In fact in the past the account was credited on Saturday....At least have some sort of explanation appear on the account page. WHAT IS GOING ON.
Janel at the Harrisonburg branch is the best!!! I have been getting my loans there for over 13 years and they have always been the lowest rates and the best service!
My wife and I have been members of Commonwealth One since they opened their first branch on the campus of JMU. In the beginning, they were great to do business with and we did so on many different occasions, as the need arose. Of late, however, they have become increasingly difficult to deal with.
