There is no law that says a bank must accept a deposit, but I was disappointed to have my coin deposit refused due to mechanical failure. The coin shortage (and quality customer service) must not be high priorities today.

We have done business with them for about 20 years. They have developed really terrible customer service and I feel like they are ripping us off in multiple ways. My husband and I are both going to close our accounts with them. Really terrible company.

Background: I received a certified letter in the mail from them stating I was in danger of repossession after just having refinanced over to them for a lower rate from CapitalOne. I immediately called them and made a payment to get caught up (even though I was unknowingly only a month and a half behind) and asked to speak to a supervisor to find out what is going on. The people do not do their job. I paid my account off in fall 2019. yet memorial day 2020 i received a nasty email telling me i owe them money and need to pay my bill. Please understand that was the first I heard about any balance I never received a statement. I have contacted them weekly or their representatives have contacted me telling me to pay this bill. Be respectful to its loyal, long-time members. I have been a member for 15 years and am looking to leave after it solicited me to apply for their promotion of 5.99% balance transfer credit card/loan and then denied me and my family the opportunity. COFCU does NOT take care of its members. What I have bragged as being "my credit union" has become a huge disappointment. I would NOT recommend this credit union. To those I did refer it to in the past, I am sorry for misguiding you.
